Nyles keeps a wary eye on the lower levels and scowls at anyone who tries to bless his 'patient', but when they reach the tunnel he swallows his breath and goes in. He keeps a measured pace, and while his arms burn with the effort of carrying the litter (he is by far the itniest male there) he sucks in the pain from the fire around his wrists and forearms and trots on.

Nyles hears a voice in the near dark. It is ragged and weak, and he can feel the litter shifting with her awakening. "Robb...?"
"No, mockingbird, it's Papa with Nyles and Alice Blackfort. You remember your friend Alice, don't you? She's holding the torch..."
"Oh... Did we kill a lot of peasants, Papa?"
"Yes, mockingbird."
There was a lengthy pause before she answered, "...Good. I think my dress is ruined... Nyles?"

"Yes?" He asked as he hauled the increasingly heavy litter. "Your dress is beautiful," he assured her, "but you'll need a new one. I'm sure that won't be a problem," he shrugged his shoulders a bit to relieve tension a moment.
He looks ahead to his sister Alice. Nobles could be crazy. Nyles figured he was probably just as crazy. Sleep would be a difficult time coming to ight, and would offer no respite from the world.

"You're a good person... A lot of people think I'm selfish, and they're right, but most people are cowards... The three of you defended me when you didn't need to... Thank you..."
Myrcella Reyne still looked lovely by the torchlight, covered in sweat and blood. "And Alice isn't a country mouse... She's a lioness..."

"Country mouse?" Nyles whispered, mostly to himself. Someone hadn't known his sister very long. "She's a Blackfort," he said, "we're much more dangerous," he assured her with a joking tone. According to the fifty or so wounded men he'd delivered mercy to on the battlefield, and the people he'd slain today, Nyles didn't need a ditzy woman half mad from blood to tell him he was a good person. He was not. Probably the worst squire ever, really. "Well, we all have our one good virtue," he said to keep her mind off the undoubted pain of a wound yet to be anesthetized. "If mine is courage, there's worse to have." He hoped they didn't have much farther; he could be brave but he was still small and this had been quite a trying walk.

Richard is left being the one to close the passage behind him. One of the last to go in before him is Danaerys Stone, otherwise known as Lady Florent. Her daughter quietly clings to her blue dress as she waits for the rest to make it through. She looked at the knight and asked, "Do you think my Tysha and I will be safe in there, Ser?' Her look suggests she is not looking for idle assurance, but the truth. "No" he replied honestly "but it would be more dangerous back there my lady. None of us is safe until we reach the Red Keep. I know not what lies in these tunnels. Stay ahead of me, follow the light, and follow the praying." Richard keeps a eye on the entryway behind him as the last of them usher in. He'll close it if he can, and follow the group.

Ahead of the Blackforts, light is seen. Nyles manages to keep his footing and before long, they're standing in the shadow of the Red Keep, surrounded by the manses of highborn nobles. Lord Reyne directs Nyles to set down the litter. Several knights step in to take their place, either out of a sense of chivalry or to impress a powerful Lord.

Richard finds the interior switch with little difficulty while Dany holds a torch for him. "You're Alice's uncle, aren't you? Ser Richard. I saw you with Ser Quentyn at the wedding feast." She held her daughter's hand appeared to be speaking for the child's benefit.

The squire puts his hands on his knees and let's out a breath. That had hurt. "If it's all right," he said, "I'd like to check on her soon," he told Lord Reyne. His breath comes out in hot gasps.

Richard hits the switch, and turns to the lady "You are correct my lady." he said with a smile now that there was a wall between them and the danger (hopefully). "Now might be the time to move though. We do not want to fall behind the group." assuming they are actually proceeding, he will continue the conversation "You know me, but I do not have the honor of knowing you my lady. I am new to this court and cloak."

"Dany Stone. Just another bastard made good." Aside from her unusually fair complexion and delicate face, she seemed perfectly Andal. "My husband is Ser Sebastian Florent. You probably know him as the knight with the greyscale scarring and missing nose."
"Ser Sebastian is nice, mummy." Volunteered the child.
"Yes, baby, he is."
"He sings really good and gives me sweets."
The line was moving faster by the time Richard had joined, with the journey perhaps only lasting ten minutes for him. Dany shared tales from her life in King's Landing and Gulltown, of meeting pirates and performing with mummers.

"Mummy says there's an enchanted castle there, filled with ghosts and giants. She says one day we'll get to see the trees with faces. Have you seen any of that? And do you really have frogmen in the swamps?"

(Charm 0) (Success. 1 Point awarded to Charm.) "Water witches?! You mean like the bird man?" Dany explained, "She means Bloodraven. Supposedly, my brother was a great sorcerer, but in truth, the most disturbing thing I ever saw him do was ogle our sister Shiera with those red eyes of his." Suddenly, he looks up at Richard with red eyes. "You're not meant to be here, white cloak. Attend to your duties and forget these moments.""Ser Richard?" Dany is suddenly further down the passage without having actually walked the distance. "Are you well? I think the air here is getting to you... I think I can see sunlight ahead though."

"Ah, I'm, yes, I'll be right with you," stammers Richard as he put his hand against the wall "I am glad for the sunlight, get out of these tunnels." he rushes to catch up after taking a breath or two "No. Though that man's reputation still..." the eyes flash by again, unsettling like they were still alive. But that was impossible. As was real dreams of the past? Ha. " intimidates me. Even after his death."
