Violet gasped. Little Nyles, dead, it couldn't be! She let out a little whimper. Her eyes stung and she had to bite her lip.

"He was slain by a Targaryen loyalist after uncovering their hideout in the city," she replied. "He was with Ser Richard, not the king. The king... I was told he gave Nyles a memorial service in the Great Sept."
She looked to Violet, having not noticed her enter the hall earlier. "I'm sorry," she said quietly.

Percival kept his face blank. He certainly was not going to speak now. He crossed his arms silently as he watched the two Blackforts begin to weep.

Belric did not cry, though he did have a tantrum appropriate of his temperment. He stood up in a fury, grabbing the ornate chair on which he had been sitting, and smashed it against the ground repeatedly. Amongst the enraged shouts, the words "traitorous cunts," and "dragon fuckers," could be heard.
Once the chair was indistinguishable from a pile of twigs, Belric chucked the section of legs he still held across the room. Intentionally or not, the flying debris got rather close to striking the maester.
"And what of the red bastards who killed him?" He asked, still short of breath.

Percival could not help a single snort of derision. He watched the leg of the chair slid across the ground to lie at his feet. Lord Piggy had another fit, shocking. He reached out with his boot and hooked it under the leg and slowly dragged it across the floor. He made no effort to be silent so the loud, dull scrapping of wood on stone echoed around the room. Once he had moved it around his body he kicked it off to the side with a loud grunt of effort. Then Percival caught the eye of a servant and started snapping and pointing toward the remains of the chair. After all of that he turned his attention back to Lord Piggy.

Belric's outburst triggered Violet's grief. She covered her face with her hands and cried as quietly as she could.

Jormun enters the hall and clears his throat, attracted by what sounded like a bear on the loose in the keep. Upon seeing the unfortunate remains of a chair, Jormun looks over to Dacey. "Which piece of bad news caused this part?"

"Nyles," replied Dacey, looking to Jormun before turning back to Belric. "A Sebastian Florent that escorted his body here said Nyles killed his attacker, but then perished of his wounds," she told Belric once he was done with the chair.

"You're damn right he killed the bastard!" He said, pounding his fist against his chest. "Blood begets blood. He honored this house till the fuckin' end!" Belric shouted out of frustration, unable to find a target for anger.
He paced around, likely because he couldn't find anything else to break. His eyes turned to the maester. "Send a raven to my uncle Richard in Kings Landing. I want to know what he knows about these Targarian loualists, and specifically if they have connections to any houses in the Riverlands." He thought for a moment. "And while you are at it, prepare a letter to send the Lord's of the Riverlands, we are to have a tournament in honor of the King's peace. Edmure has informed me that several of my vassals may already be present, is that so?"

The Maester replied dryly, "Lord Goodbrick is indeed quite close. His wife took and he is staying with one of your landed Knights. I believe Dacey just returned from greeting him with honor." The Maester turned to look at Dacey expectantly.

"Well done," Belric said, nodding his appreciation to his sister. She had been busy while he was away. "What can you tell me of the man?" He asked, trying to move on from the difficult subject of his brothers murder.

Saesha was standing then and took the news of Nyles death stoically, she had not known him. She looked at her husband breaking things though, and thought that could hardly help.
She was far more concerned about the Targaryen Loyalists and the threat the posed to her family. She kept listening.

"No, though I was just about to head out and escort them here," she said, raising an eyebrow at Percival and his illogical mushroom-induced rambling. Why would she go there, greet the lord and come back without him? "I sent the knight hosting them some grain before we left for Armistead. Word has it Goodbrook's brought at least two dozen knights."

Edmure arrived late to the Hall. He had already spoken to Belric at the gate and in the meantime had visited the stables to put preparations in place for Belric's next task for him.
Pouring himself an cup of ale, he raised an eyebrow when he noted the remains of the ornate chair scattered over near where the maester was sitting. Pity. He had quite liked that chair. Edmure guessed that Belric was the one responsible and that he had received some bad news. As he took a sip of his drink, he hoped that Belric had thrown it at Percival and that his aim had just been bad.
