"It has been a long day Saesha. In truth I thought you were still hard at work, otherwise I would have come earlier." He put a hand to her cheek, "You were very impressive today."

"The mind does not work without rest," she commented, looking at him with angry eyes. She'd not appreciated being yelled at earlier, nor did she appreciate him ruining her well intentioned attempt at reconciliation. He did not seem to understand, that him bringing his sister up here, to their bedroom, without even knowing that she had seen it yet was a slight, and while she would not usually have cared for these things, but she was the Lady of this keep now and Belric was making that adjustment harder.
She allowed his touch for a second before walking off to the otherside of the room to look out of the window at their ruined castle. "You surprised me, up to a point." it was meant as a sort of a compliment.

Belric scratched at the back of his head, knowing himself guilty of the occasional outburst. All in all, he had considered the day a success, he was not surprised however to find Saesha had expected more. "Apart from Ser Simon losing that duel, I'm not sure how the day could have gone much better."

"Yes it was, I expected it go a lot worse," she admitted, "a great success,"she looked at him, then removed her robe and held her hand out to him, standing naked in the moonlight coming through the window.

He raised an eyebrow at her, admiring the shape of her body as she stood, silhouetted against the window. "You will be my greatest success." He grabbed her hand, and pulled her close.

"You'll find me the hardest won," she grinned, letting him pull her towards him, "what did hoster want," she said conversationally, while she started to undress him, "back at the tavern,"

And just like that, Belric knew rest would not be coming anytime soon. He held her for a moment, enjoying the warmth of her bare skin.
"Hoster murdered an old man who had mistaken Violet for a whore. I had sent him to keep her out of trouble, however he seems to have only created it. He had been trying to explain to the old man that he was talking to the Lords sister, but when he old man wouldn't listen, Hoster did what he does best and got physical."

"What are you planning on doing?" She asked, relieving him of his shirt, her hands starting to descend to his trousers.

"I had told myself I would reserved judgment until we took back Harrenhal." Belric ran a hand through her hair, doing little to obstruct her from removing his pants. "He will have to face consequences of a sort, but I will not leave the fate of my uncle to the mob. A public lashing should suffice."

"You want to lash your captain of the guard?" she asked, frowning a bit, she did not know if that would suffice. "You said that your uncle did what he usually did and resorted to violence, now is not the time to have someone so volatile in such a position. We have just won Harrenhal and the people, we do not want to lose them again. If the man was not your uncle, and the woman was not your sister, you would do the same?" She pulled his trousers down and stepped back a bit so he could step out of them.

"If he was not my uncle, and Violet not my sister, I wouldn't give two shits what happened." Belric stepped out of his last article of clothing and walked over to Saesha. "However, none of that is the case, and something must be done. The people have gotten what they wanted, their bellies and their purses have been filled. If they can live amongst the murder of their children they can live with a man who accidentally killed an old pervert."
Belric put his hands to her hips, his calloused fingers running over her smooth skin. "I will be forced to leave these walls soon enough, diplomacy requires it. I trust Hoster, and I will need him to watch my back. We are surrounded be enemies now, I would not turn my blood away from me. Hoster can handle the whip, and the people will see discipline." He bent his knees, trying to catch her eyes. "What would Lady Blackfort see done?"

"Perhaps I am being harsh in thinking he should pay the ultimate price," she said, looking into his eyes, she put her arms over his shoulders and pressed close to him, happy to be seen as accepting compromise and his decisions gracefully. "If you think that is best, he is your man," she moved her hands to his shoulders and pushed him playfully back towards the bed, "I want to make a sort of Council for Harrenhal," she approached him like a predator, "with a representative of the village, so we can streamline our efforts for improvements. Do you agree?"

He was happy to find that Saesha was agreeable, he hoped that was a sign he was making the right decision. She tended to be the expert on things of this nature.
Belric raised an eye at the word 'council,' hearing it translate to 'more work.' He grimaced, sitting onto the bed he was so aptly pushed towards. "And whom would you have represent the village?" He had a feeling he was going to lose whatever argument she was planning. He could hardly put up a fight, her sexuality did well to distract him.

"I thought that smith that rallied them" Saesha replied, straddling his lap and kissing him, " He clearly has considerable sway with the people and holds their respect. They trust him to serve their interests. It will open up a two way communication I think they will appreciate.

He kissed her in return, his hands conforming to the curve of her backside. "I would be wary to give that man any more power than he already has. These are our people now, I am not so sure we need a mediator to ensure the commonwealth is happy. I would have made Jamie the Knight of Kingspyre, if he had been willing. But to make him the voice of the people will only work to undermine our position as Lord and Lady."
