"I think it enhances it. The people will know to come to us when laws are breached and for you to meet out justice, of course," she said, pressing closer to him, "but how can we know what the people really think, they will hardly say to our faces. I also do not think it gives him more power, if anything he will be a channel in which our power, goodness and generosity reaches a wider scope. Now instead of the people we directly help knowing what we have done, and those close to them, everyone will know. It is only to open a dialogue, the ability to openly communicate is so important in the early stages of a relationship."

"I would like to meet with the smith again, if only to talk about the metal work that needs doing around the castle. Perhaps we can talk more about this once the dust has settled." He pulled himself away from her slightly, his hands at her hips. "Your heart is in the right place, but I have no mind for politics when you are without your cloths."

Saesha knew better than to push for a fight right now, so decided on another tact, "well, if I am distracting you from work," she said and knelt up over him, so she was standing taller than he, "perhaps I should put my clothes back on? I do think this council is something important yo decide early so we can choose who best to be on it." She teased and raked her fingers through his hair so he was looking up at her.

He looked at her playfully, "Do you relent nothing? I have a mind for who would be on my council, but I am in need of distraction." Belric kissed at her stomach, "Would you not grant me that?"

"It's not in my blood to settle," she replied with a growl, "my ancestors never settled, neither will I."

Belric laughed, a genuine smile creasing the lines of his face. "Do not underestimate the stubbornness of a Blackfort. We rarely know what's good for us. I will meet with Jamie the Smith, and any of my people if they desire it. But right now, a lord has more pressing matters to attend." He gave her a knowing look, "The survival of our house should be paramount." Belric kissed her lips, his hands running up her back as he pressed her against him.

"Well, who am I to deny my lord his primary purpose?" She asked, kissing him passionately as she....

////// 2nd Moon, 22nd Day
After the cleanup, Violet knocked on her brother's door. She felt nervous about visiting his chambers after her first experience and while she quite liked Saesha, she didn't want to interrupt any intimate moments between the couple. But she wanted to talk to her brother, as well as continue her search for the keyhole that fit the key she had taken to wearing around her neck.

Belric answered the door to his bedchambers, curious to see who was calling on him. He was surprised to see Violet, standing on the opposite side of the threshold. "Violet, everything alright?" He wasn't sure why he thought something was wrong, it just seemed to be the running theme with his sister since they had arrived.

"I'm fine," she said "I looked for you in your solar, but you weren't there. I thought we should talk, and I wanted to, um, search for the thing I was looking for the other day. I've not had any luck since, but there's a lot of rooms in this castle. But I still think Lady Danelle would keep her treasure close, since she appears to have kept the key on her person."

He opened the door, motioning for Violet to enter. "Of course, that bloody key." Belric had nearly forgotten about his sisters treasure hunt. "Seems reasonable enough that she would keep her private things in her private quarters." Even though he was terrible at finding anything lost, Belric began to help his sister look through his room.

She felt a little strange looking through her brothers private quarters and did her best to avoid prying into his and Sasha's possessions as she searched for boxes with locks that might fit her key, or even small doors.
"What happened to Lady Danelle's possessions before you moved in here?"

"What happened to Lady Danelle's possessions before you moved in here?" Observation 43 "Her room had been left untouched when we arrived, and in considerably better condition than the rest of the castle." Belric pulled up the skirt around his bed, ducking down and looking underneath it.

"I can't find anything," Violet admitted. "Was there anything of Danelle's that you had to move elsewhere, when you put yours and Saesha's belongings here?"
