Dacey, having lowered her hand, listened to Kyle in silence. She hadn't expected an explanation as long, nor did she really need a lecture on that last part; she'd removed her fair share of arrows during the war and found it less intrusive if someone else did it.
She gestured to the bolt and placed her hands on the table behind her to keep steady.

Kyle offers her a rag to bite down on so she doesn't risk biting her tongue, then splays his thumb out in a V and places it next to the bolt before letting his other hand wrap about the bolt's terminus and pulling his elbow straight back in one motion, in a manner not dissimilar to setting up a pool shot.

Dacey refused the rag with an expression of "bitch, please".

Belric spit at the big blond oaf, his lifeless corpse remained still despite the lord's offense. "Had to teach our friend here about superstiton." He winced at Dacey's own wound, crossbow bolts were never any fun.
With Willem and Willis having emerged from the cellar below, Belric repositioned himself in their direction. "Willis, take a guard and go rescue the girl. If you don't find yourself between her legs, I'll pay for the whores myself. Willem, stay here and make sure our guest keeps his tongue straight. Well done today boys, I owe you one."
His eyes fell to Kyle. He stared at the man for a time, sizing him up. "What's your part in all this? Speak truthfully, and I will spare your life. How did Skinner Jon win you over?"

Kyle was starting to think he hadn't existed in Harrenhal that very morning. "What?" He asked. "I told you about this place, I didn't know they had an army here. My information just led to you destroying the larger part of Skinner Jon's entire damned network around your lands, my lord."

"The largest part of his army?" Belric asked suspiciously. "I think not." He was clearly in no mood to hear this man's misdirections. He'd not have run when Belric arrived had he been on the Lord's side, that much was clear. "Want to try again?"

Kyle had no idea what the man was talking about so he decided silence was a better answer than anything else. Fortunately, he never follows his first impulse. "I don't understand your meaning, my lord," he finally said. "These bandits burned the local inn down so I investigated them, then found out they were holding hostages. I'm no warrior which is why I decided that you and your men would be the best solution to the problem."

(1 Medical point awarded.)
The good innkeeper pulls the bolt out smoothly, but finds his hands slipping slightly as he cleans the wound. Indeed, his movements almost seem appropriate. Perhaps drinking before surgery was an unwise move. In the end though, he manages clean her wound and successfully covers it.
(Two weeks before being reduced to a light wound, and another two weeks before healing entirely.)
The bad innkeeper whimpers like a kicked toddler. "My lord! Believe me, I know nothing of Skinner Jon or his Red Eels. My family hail from Mandrake lands! We have never even been to Shoreham! All I did... Was protect my family! To claim a better position for my wife and child! But..."
He raised his bloody hands in homage to Belric. "But wait! I do know some things! I saw these monsters come and go for the past fortnight! I saw Skinner Jon himself! I watched how they listened to him!" He set his head on the bloody floor like a penitent in the Sept. "Please! I am a good man! I never hurt anyone before today!"

Berlic's skeptical demeanor remained. "You played me, just as you said you would play the bandits. Which is why my gold is gone and my ribs are broken. You'd not have attempted escape otherwise."
"As for you," he said to the second inkeep. "Begging cannot wash the blood from your hands.
Belric stood up, ready to head back to Harrenhal. "The two of you are under arrest, and will be confined to the dungeons until the time of your hanging. In exchange for your lives, I want the where abouts of Skinner Jon and his band of merry men."

Dacey thanked the innkeeper for patching her up, despite highly suspecting he was either rather unskilled or a tad drunk. She looked impassively as Belric arrested the both of them, and turned to him. "I sent Ser Garlan after the man with the gold," she said. "I would have gone myself, but the bolt would've slowed me down." She glanced at the two men, waiting for their removal from the room. "There's more," she told Belric.

Kyle goes to break some more of Belric's ribs. If gen was going to die, he'd die like a man.

Dacey swiftly drew one of her swords and pointed it at the innkeeper, stepping between him and Belric. "Step back," she commanded.

Willis had taken the guard as ordered and gone upstairs to search for the girl. He heard the commotion behind him, but figured it was probably just Belric breaking something, as usual.
"Anyone up here?" He called as they went, keeping an eye out for anything unusual.

"You order the living, not the dead," Kyle said laconically. He isn't stopping now.

(Three Observation points awarded.)
Willis finds the upstairs a different world than downstairs. Here are the remnants and memories of a true knightly house. Old paintings are hung of the late Ser Walder Honeyspoon alongside what must have been the last Lord Lothston. There are various gold and silver tokens scattered about. Either the Red Eels had failed to properly search the premises, or there had been more than financial motivations for the tax raid.
It isn't long before he hears movement in one of the nearby rooms. Past the door, which has already been shattered by another intruder, Willis finds a young woman in a torn dress. Her hair is an especially flaming red in contrast to her pale cheeks. She is breathing heavily and clearly terrified, yet it is Willis who should be concerned. The lass holds a loaded heavy crossbow traditionally used for bringing down fully plated knights on horseback. Willis can see the storage case upon a grand desk and the open closet where she must have found the device.
"Stay back... I don't want any trouble... Just take what you want from out there and leave in peace... There are plenty of brothels that take silver..."
(Another Observation point awarded.)
To his left, Willis notices the older brunette carrying a slightly more mundane shortsword. She is crouched in an equally ruined dress and would likely have ambushed him should he approach her daughter. Even with the different hair color, the family resemblance is difficult to miss.
***
After Belric's painful tousle with the blonde bandit, Kyle's assassination attack was a welcome sign he was not actually growing soft from sitting on perfumed pillows. He catches the first blow handily and with the aid of a nearby carving fork, pins the traitor's wrist to the table.
Kyle, in a move that would make all his old comrades proud, wrestles the utensil out of his arm and prepares to bury it in the Lord's eye. As he draws his good arm back, he suddenly begins to spew blood over Belric from his mouth. It takes Belric a brief moment to notice his sister has planted her sword tip through the back of the assassin's throat.
Still, Kyle's eyes betray no hesitation and only lowers the carving fork as he loses feeling below the neck. As he falls to his knees, still connected to his killer by her sword arm, he manages to keep all of his attention focused on the Lord's eyes. He maintains the harsh glare long after he is actually dead, and before long is staring at the ceiling with the same spite.
